Horizontals and Verticals-in Transit

Walk-Sleepwalk
I observe the dynamics of the city from a distant point of view.

Always on the move and becoming translucent.
Walter Benjamin, in the first half of the 20th century,
saw the harmful effects of capitalist society.
As an artist-wanderer I walk the lines of a map in Paris and Rome.

We walk and we sleep in verticals and horizontals.
(Metro-Boulot-Dodo) Sometimes chaos strikes in a big city

and the logic of horizontals and verticals gets mixed up.

We start to sleepwalk or we sleep on the street.
No map or citystructure can prevent this.
I watch and find poetry in flesh and concrete.
